**This class is in-person and for those local to the Alleghany county area of Virginia only*** Join herbalist Claire Noel on Saturday, November 8th at 10a.m. for a make-and-take herbal medicine workshop. We will be discussing fevers as part of a healthy immune response, ways to support that process and manage it if necessary with common medicinal herbs. We’ll also be making the classic cold weather herbal oxymel - fire cider - together and learning how to best use this spicy-sweet folk remedy to take good care of ourselves and our loved ones when sickness hits. Each participant will take home their own jar of fire cider to add to your home apothecary. This workshop will be held at Good News Church, 331 W. Main St. in Covington, VA at 10 a.m. on 11/8/25.
